Paint Brush Corpoation has been producing handmade, professional-grade paint brushes since 1946.
Our brushes are made from the finest components we can find -- ox hair from Germany, hog bristle from China and synthetic filaments from both U.S. and world suppliers.

The real art of brushmaking comes from manufacturing a consistently uniform product from non-standard raw materials. Bristle characteristics can vary widely from one batch to the next. Synthetic filaments are also unpredictable, varrying in stiffness and tippability. The uniformity of our brushes results from the careful evaluation and processing of the raw materials.
Every brush we make is assembled by hand. This results in unsurpassed uniformity and quality, because only the hand of an experienced brush maker can tell if a brush is just right.
Making the brush is only the first step. We also process our brushes to a degree unmatched in the industry. All of our Chinese bristle brushes are hand washed. This results in a brush that is absolutely clean with straight bristles. Our nylon and polyester brushes are all processed using methods and equipment that we developed. This gives our brushes a fine tip, without loose or broken filaments.
Flagging -- splitting the tips of the filaments -- is common among brushmakers. It produces more surface area at the tip to hold and deliver paint. We don't do it because it also causes the tip to wear faster and gives off broken filaments in the finish. Instead, we use blends of full length, tapered filaments to produce longer and finer tips. Then we finish the tip to produce a sharp, cutting edge.
We know you can buy less expensive brushes. But we know you can't buy a finer one.
Only one grade . . . the very best.
